The dream of a greeenhouse and a lot of work...

My Dear Blog Friends... These last weeks have been sooo busy and even though I have tried to find some time for some blog writing , I just couldn't find it... And Yeees it is for real ... The dream of a greenhouse is finally coming true <3 I got this idea in december last year as my husband and I started to notice that our house was starting to look like a jungle... I am not kidding... All the science that has to do with plants and green living has become a great passion for me.
It is really a good thing that this winter hasn´t been so hard, so our handy men , Marcin and Piotor , have been able to almost finish everything before our house arrives from Belgium...
So today after a cozy day in my boutique I finally found the time to write in my dear blog...
Here are some pictures of growing tomatoes and artichokes.. soon they will be moved to their new home...
Our new little house will serve many purposes... I am planning to move all my oilpainting there making it my New studio for painting and creating .... I know that I will find new inspiration for my work among all the flowers , fruits and vegetables... Soooo looking forward to the moment when I stand inside with the brush in my hand , some jazz music and the painting can begin.... I am planning of having my favourite Kusmi teas to keep me company and maybe a glas of wine....;-) Here is a picture of a bean growing among the flowers in the jungle that our home has become...
The last but not the least important purpose is having friends and family enjoying a dinner with us in our cozy Greenhouse....
So soon Dear friends ...My dream of a Greenhouse will come true..... Here is a picture a some beauties of Spring that followed me home from the shop a few days ago... Pelargons and Violets ... You just can not have to much of these...This particular Pelargon has a lovely name " Moonlight Violino". Love it !!!
Have the nicest day Dear friends ! Andrea Labbé

The Color Green...

Hi Dear Blog-Friends of the World ! I am sooo happy to see that now by writing in English I have readers from everywhere... I am so happy to share my work with all of you <3

Green, is one of the colours I use in every Collection <3 I have had a special love for this colour since I was a little girl... I wanted all my clothes to be in green , lime and aqua green.... And there is quite a lot to say about this fascinating colour.. Starting by saying that all of our Nature embeds it in all kind of shades and it gives us calm , harmony , love and joy...

This is a picture I shared on Instagram a few days ago , showing how my sons and I are getting "green fingers" and that a Greenhouse is now something we need in our home... On the front row of pots are our growing cucumbers... So happy to see how it all comes to life from a tiny little seed...potting soil , water, light and love...
This is why the Color Green is the colour of balance and growth...

This green hand knitted Alpaca Sweater is from this Spring Collection of knits 2017 ...I would call this a "grass green" colour.... LOVE It So Much !
The colour green is created by the combination of yellow and blue but by far the largest contributor to green in nature is chlorophyll , the chemical by wich plants photosynthesize and convert sunlight into chemical energy... In nature we can see that many creatures have adapted to their green environments by taking on a green shade themselves as camouflage...

And maybe this is why most of the people I know feel so comfortable wearing green... maybe it is in our subconcious wanting to be in harmony with nature , life , health , youth , spring and hope.... All the things that this lovely colour stands for...

There is so much to learn about this particular colour , it has a fascinating history from ancient time to our present and I hope to be able to create many green outfits for years to come...

Wearing my feather shawl from this Collection, being a part of nature ....

A big Hug from a happy Soul enjoying all the beauties that life has to offer ...
