To Create something out of nothing...

Dear Blog Friends ... Another week has passed and day by day we are slowly getting more daylight ... Although it is in the middle of the winter one can already feel some Spring feelings pouring out ... Friends travel to warmer places to escape a little bit of darkness and cold and hopefully when they come back all the snow will have melted and the sunset will not longer be at 16h as it is now... I love to see how they post all the different places they are going to to reach the sunlight ...Meanwhile here in Stockholm my production of this seasons Spring and summer collection is taking the most of my time and for me that is somehow the happiest place on earth to be in...Take a look at this combination of joy for the eye... A little Amaryllis got a home among the tulips...It was the last one left of this years blooming Amaryllis and it has now been living with a bunch of tulips for almost a week , and they seem to get along really well...
And here My New Inglish Pelargon... Isn´t it lovely ?
For me Shopping flowers and then taking care of them like a baby is a passion... This week has been a week of working with my mayolica ceramics ... Decorating and getting them ready for the burning process in the ceramic oven...
Here the Mayolica big platter ready for the decor part... To create something out of nothing is what I love about my work... This is when I step out of my comfort zone...
When I create, it is like I ,Me, myself does not exist... The only thing that is important at that moment is my work , the process and the result . I do not have to take myself so seriously in that particular moment because it is almost like I am not even there... It is hard to explain the feeling but It is wonderful and my heartrate slows down, making me feel relaxed...
Something that I always try to fit in during the week is my oil painting ...This one is now finished. A painting of Naif Art I have called Alegria... It is spanish and means happiness and the explanation of why I gave it this name is only because I felt such hapiness painting it... And today I am on my way to buy a new canvas for I have already an idea of what I want to paint on my next painting...
My Little boutique is dressed in shades of red and blue this week...
The little Boutique also got some New Arrivals for this Spring... The Allegra Shirt... A shirt made in soft cotton and embroideries and a little skirt I named Lotus... Mixing these two as an outfit was a top match ...
Tomorrow it is time to open my shop again and I am so looking forward to it... Fixing and working with what has now been my studio and boutique for almost 6 years... I wish you all a wonderful continuation of this week and weekend... Kindly / Andrea Labbé
