Pippi Longstocking!

Dear friends!
For a while I had the idea of knitting a Pippi Longstocking sweater for my little niece Dominique . She loves Pippi so I began my knitting project for her .
It was far from the first time I knitted this sweater as my two sons and husband also got theirs almost 20 years ago ...   (null)
And my husband as you can see still uses it...
As my Dear friend Ulrika said yesterday - There lies so much nostalgy in this sweater, especially for us who grow up in the seventies.:-)
When my project for my dear little niece was finished I realized that I just had to knit one for her newborn sister too .Imagine the happiness it was for me seeing them wear the sweaters together ... Simply too much cuteness<3

My nickname is Nanny so I got some special labels for them with my nickname on...
And here they are  Dominique and Nicole our two family Pippi Longstocking Princesses. . .

Only one week old and she is already posing like the tiny princess she is ... <3
I didn’t know that the sweater would get so much acceptance and I already have some orders . So happy for this !!
My Spread Love collection finished with a little miss matched outfit , an outfit I love so much as mixing patterns and materials is one of the things I love the most about my work ...

The sweater is hand knitted in soft mohair with so many details as sequins and crocheted buttons ...
The skirt is made in a soft jersey chequered pattern , that is definately here to stay even this spring... Perfect to wear with a t- shirt and sneakers when it gets warmer ...
